Indications:
Hypertension.
Adults:
Initially 250mg two or three times daily, adjust at two day intervals; max 3g daily.
Children:
Initially 10mg/kg daily in two to four divided doses. Adjust according to response; max 65mg/kg or 3g daily whichever is less.
Elderly:
Initially 125mg twice daily. Increase gradually as required; max. 2g daily.
